What makes a house a Home? Some will say it’s the love that resides there; others will suggest it’s the style of a space that dictates a sense of warmth or home. You know the old saying “Home is where the heart is”; well I believe that if you put some of your heart into your home, it will be felt by those who enjoy it. Unique and unexpected elements in a space can generate a sense of comfort and belonging. Repurposing objects and incorporating architecturally salvaged items into my work is fun, and it brings something special to the finished space.
